Essential food for the soul

House of Hope is a Christ-centered community providing hope by serving the needs of men, women and children facing homelessness.

Opened in October of 2017, this community shelter is for overnight emergency housing. This shelter cares for more than 1100 people a year, offering shelter, food and clothing.
This men’s shelter is for long term life-recovery. Men stay up to 1 year getting the skills, job, savings account and often a car that they will need to live independently. Most important they will be introduced to a relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Addictions Recovery Center is a Christ centered shelter that houses 28 men and serves as an entryway for those seeking to break the bonds of addiction and enter the Men’s Life Recovery Program at the House of Hope.

A village of 23 tiny houses next door to our headquarters at 1020 W. Darlington Street in Florence. The houses would fill a gap in the care of Florence’s homeless, particularly women and children.

To help financially support the House of Hope, and to give the homeless that stay with us a place to get what they need in a dignified manner, we operate this thrift store.
