2024 Evening of Hope

The House of Hope is thrilled to host Jeff Foxworthy in March 11 , 2024 at the Florence Center.

Jeff Foxworthy is an American actor, author, producer, investor and the largest selling comedy recording artists in history. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 6, 1958, he grew up in a suburb called Hapeville. He worked for IBM as a computer technician, following his father’s footsteps, but he discovered his talent for comedy when he performed at a local club on a dare from his friends. Because of this discovery he quit his job and pursued a career in stand-up comedy, becoming known for his hilarious “You might be a redneck if…” jokes that poke fun at the culture of the Southern United States.

To-date, he has released six comedy albums, written 26 books, several based on his jokes and autobiography, and starred in his own sitcom The Jeff Foxworthy Show. He is also a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, along with Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall and Ron White. Additionally he has hosted several TV shows, such as Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?, The American Bible Challenge and The Foxworthy Countdown.

Besides being a successful entertainer, Jeff Foxworthy is also a generous humanitarian. Jeff supports various charities and causes, such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Atlanta Mission, the Duke Children’s Hospital and the Special Olympics. He also founded the Jeff Foxworthy Foundation, which helps low-income families in Georgia with education, health care and housing. Selflessly, he has donated millions of dollars and countless hours of his time to help those in need. He believes that comedy is a gift from God and that he has a responsibility to use it for good. Jeff once said, “I don’t care if I’m remembered as a comedian or not. I want to be remembered as somebody who made a difference.” He is married to Pamela Gregg. Jeff and Pamela have two daughters, Jordan and Juliane.
